General information and advice
Sometimes you might need expert advice from people who understand legal and financial matters. To know what services are available, and to understand your rights, we believe you need information that is up-to-date and easy to understand. Advice centres run by the Council and other organisations can provide you with information and help you to understand it.
Barking and Dagenham Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)

- Family issues, like divorce or other problems

The advice service is available to people who live or work in the borough. However, if you live and work outside of the borough the CAB may be able to help you if your enquiry concerns debt and you qualify for legal aid.
