Kidspsace SEN Sessions

Kidspaces next SEN Session takes place on Sunday 17th March from 8-9am.
During this session they close the entire venue for  SEN guests, allowing them exclusive use of the centre in a quieter, more controlled atmosphere.
Guests who would like to attend will need to present a DLA letter or a letter from a medical professional confirming the diagnosis.
Entry costs £4 for one child and two accompanying adults. Any siblings wishing to join will be charged at the normal sibling rate of £6.

Ab Phab Quiz Night

After a hugely successful quiz night last year with over £1,000 raised!!! Ab Phab will be hosting another quiz night on Tuesday 16th April 2019.  All funds raised will once again go directly towards activities and youth sessions.
This quiz night is for ages 11+ so please feel free to bring along your children as there will be some rounds specifically aimed at children and young people.

They really hope you all plan to enter a team, whether it's made up of work colleagues, friends or family. Alternatively, perhaps some of you will join forces and we can put you into teams. We do need to know in advance if you would like to enter a team as we were running out of room last year and we don’t want anyone to miss out!

Kids Patch Weekend Club

Kids Patch is DABD's Ofsted registered weekend club for children and young people aged 5 + with disabilities or additional needs. The club offers a friendly, fun, social and inclusive environment for three age groups (5 – 8, 9 – 13 and 14 – 18) with specialist equipment and facilities and trained staff. Live a Better Life 

Do you have a mental health issue?  Do you want to get fitter? Do you want to lose weight? Do you want to improve your health?If so then the Live a Better Life Programme could be for you.Over a 12 week course you will be able to participate in a range of different physical activities and health and emotional wellbeing workshops. Transition to adult life with SEN

Action for Kids, together with the Advocacy and Support Partership and leading law firm Irwin Mitchell, are delighted to present a series of flagship seminars for parents, carers and professionals on issues related to special educational needs and disabilities.Seminars are only £15 (including lunch) for parents and carers, and £45 for Professionals. FREE  ADVOCACY TRAINING

The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham recognises the importance of carers and the contribution they make in supporting family members with care needs through the care assessments process or reviews.They have commissioned Cambridge House Advocacy Service to deliver advocacy training to carers to strengthen their existing skills which we believe will help carers be more confident and effective when supporting those they are caring for through a Care Assessment Process or Review. You may decide to use these learned advocacy skills in the future to gain employment in advocacy either through paid or voluntary work. For Carers in Barking & Dagenham FREE ADVOCACY TRAINING,

This training is offered free to all carers who care for someone living in Barking and Dagenham. Each training programme contains 5 half-day sessions (3.5 hours). To gain certificate, you will need to attend all 5 sessions, however, the training is flexible and if you cannot commit to all 5 sessions in one programme, you can attend missed sessions in the second or third programmes. Get Together For the Elderly

Every Thursday - 10.00am to 12.00pm, Sessions cost £2.00 at Crowlands Heath Golf Club, Wood Lane, Dagenham, RM8 1JX

Why not join Rivers of Joy at their weekly “Get together for the Elderly?”

You can join them for a chat over a cup of tea / coffee / snacks. There are lots of games and other fun things to do, each session costs £2.00.
