It was a very busy Christmas for our staff at Carers. The Community Christmas spirit was even bigger and better this year with donations of food bags, presesents and boxes of chocolates for some of our lovely families.
Staff were busy identifying Carers who would benefit from receiving a Christmas goody bags. These were delivered to Parent Carers, Carers of people with Dementia, Carers caring for people with Pan Disabilities.
The food bags came from the Christmas Cheer Campaign, B&D Collective, B&D Together and Barking and Dagenham Council.
Our Young Carers were then lucky enough to receive gifts from May & Baker Rugby Team, who were extremley generous and made a lot of our Young Carers faces light up.
Jack Petchey foundation funded 100 Christmas Packages sent out to more lucky Young Carers and lastly, Jon our amazing Volunteer managed to get 56 tubs of Chocolate/Sweets for more of our families.
We can not THANK everyone above enough for the generoisty and to our volunteers who did a fab job in delivering the packages, without them it would not have been possible.
We really do hope 2021 is a better year for all of our lovely families.
