| SUPPORT
GROUPS
We have a number of support groups for
carers and former carers. These meetings are a useful opportunity for
you to meet others in similar situations and to share any
concerns you
may have. Helpful tips can be exchanged and mutual support can be of
great help. All groups are informal with light refreshments available
free of charge.
Guest speakers are occasionally invited along to our support groups to
give information on subjects that are important for people in
their role as a carer.
We recognise some carers may not be able to leave the person they are
caring for. We may be able to help people in this
situation. If this is the case and you would like
to attend a group, you should contact a support worker and discuss what
you may need to help you attend.
