Kids Patch is DABD's Ofsted registered weekend club for children and young people aged 5 + with disabilities or additional needs. The club offers a friendly, fun, social and inclusive environment for three age groups (5 – 8, 9 – 13 and 14 – 18) with specialist equipment and facilities and trained staff. FREE ADVOCACY TRAINING
The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham recognises the importance of carers and the contribution they make in supporting family members with care needs through the care assessments process or reviews.They have commissioned Cambridge House Advocacy Service to deliver advocacy training to carers to strengthen their existing skills which we believe will help carers be more confident and effective when supporting those they are caring for through a Care Assessment Process or Review. You may decide to use these learned advocacy skills in the future to gain employment in advocacy either through paid or voluntary work. For Carers in Barking & Dagenham FREE ADVOCACY TRAINING,
The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham recognises the importance of carers and the contribution they make in supporting family members with care needs through the care assessments process or reviews. This training is offered free to all carers who care for someone living in Barking and Dagenham. Each training programme contains 5 half-day sessions (3.5 hours). To gain certificate, you will need to attend all 5 sessions, however, the training is flexible and if you cannot commit to all 5 sessions in one programme, you can attend missed sessions in the second or third programmes.
